Official blazon

Escudo de ouro, com um castelo de azul, aberto e iluminado do primeiro. As torres laterais rematadas por duas pombas de prata, a da direita voltada. A torre central encimada por uma cruz da Ordem de Cristo, de vermelho, com uma cruzeta de prata. Coroa de mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com os dizeres : " POMBAL ", a negro.
