PIBERBACH

State : Oberösterreich
District : Linz-Land

Coat of arms (crest) of Piberbach
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 21, 1983.

The arms are canting, showing a beaver (Biber) in a river (Bach). The red and green colours refer to the industry in Linz (where many inhabitants work) and the agriculture in the municipality.

Literature : Baumert, H.E. : Oberösterreichische Gemeindewappen, Linz, 1996.
