PERG
State : Oberösterreich
District : Perg
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 21, 1969.
The oldest known seal of Perg hangs on a document from 1555. When the seal was made is not known. In 1363 the local council mentions that the town has no own seal. A second seal is known from 1595, but its style indicates a much older origin. Both seals show the unicorn.
The origin of the unicorn is not known.
