German | In Schwarz über drei zwei zu eins gestellten goldenen Bienen schwebend ein silberner Schlägel und ein silbernes Eisen mit goldenen Griffen in schräger Kreuzung.
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on February 21, 1919. The black field and the tools indicate the importance of the coal mining in the town. The bees symbolise the bee-keeping which was very common in the beginning of the century. The bees also indicate the zeal of the labourers.
