PAYS-DE-LA-LOIRE
Origin/meaning
The arms are a combination of the arms of the Maine (fleur-de-lis and lion), the Bretagne (Brittany, ermine) and the hearts of the Vendée, the three historical regions, to which part of the region belonged.
