PARISH OF ALL SAINTS (LINKÖPING DIOCESE)

Denomination : Lutheran

Arms (crest) of the Parish of All Saints (Linköping Diocese)

Official blazon

I rött fält ett kors av guld belagt med fem blå grekiska kors.

Origin/meaning

The Crosses alludes to the All Saint to which the Parish Church was dedicated. The Tinctures Gules and Or are taken form the Arms of the "Great son of the Parish" the Royal Councilor, Poet and Count ERik Lindschöld (1634-1690). The Azure on Or also alludes to the Swedish Flag indicating that Count Lindschöld held some of the Highest Offices of the Swedish State. Assumed 4 April 1995 and designed by Per Andersson.
