Colonial arms
The arms were officially granted on October 12, 1934.
Official blazon:
Doorneden in sinopel, beneden: een Inlandsche blaasbalg van goud, tusschen tusschen de pijpen waarvan aan den voet een vlam van natuurlijke kleur; boven : een ring eveneens van goud, waardoor een rijpe padiplant van zilver is gestoken. Het schild gedekt met een gouden kroon van vijf bladeren. Schildhouders: twee leuwen van goud, getongd en genageld van keel. Wapenspreuk: "Repeh rapih genah hardja in latijnsche letters van sabel op een lint van goud.
