PALMBACH
State : Baden-Württemberg
Urban district (Stadtkreis) : Karlsruhe
Incorporated into : 1972 Wettersbach (1975 Karlsruhe)
Origin/meaning
The arms were proposed in 1901 by the State Archives of Baden.
The arms show a canting palm leaf, even though the name is derived from the French village La Balme (the village Palmbach was founded by French Huguenot refugees). The meaning of the sword I don't know.
