Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 19, 1995.
The cog wheel refers to the industry and industrial character of the parish, whereas the olive tree refers to the former agricultural importance.
The honey comb refers to the growth of the parish in time, with new boroughs added regularly. The small escutcheon shows the symbols of the local patron saint, St. Adrianus.
