OPHERDICKE

State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Unna
Incorporated into : 1968 Holzwickede

Wappen von Opherdicke/Arms (crest) of Opherdicke
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 1, 1938.

The arms show the arms of the Counts of the Mark, to which the area historically belonged, with in the upper part a label and in the base three rings. The label and the rings are derived from the medieval family Von Opherdicke.
