The fish refers to angling in the river (or sea) that forms a lagoon/estuary and runs into the ocean. The rising sun symbolises the wonderful sunny climate in the country. | |||
The crest shows a crossed black anchor, an old Christian symbol of hope, and also a symbol of shipping. The 3 pronged fork refers to Neptune ruling of the ocean. | |||
