OLTINGUE

Origin/meaning

The arms of Oltingue date from the 17th century. The wheel is the symbol of St. Catherine, the local patron saint. The letter O is the initial of the village, whereas the B stands for Bouxwiller, as until 1789 the village belonged to the Bouxwiller estate.
