Incorporated into : 1977 Ohey

Armoiries de Olne

Official blazon

De gueules à une crosse épiscopale, le crosseron contourné, posée en bande et brochant sur une épée de justice, posée en barre la pointe en bas, le tout d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on November 6, 1997.

The arms are based on the oldest seal of the village, known from 1426. The seal shows the local patron saint, St. Albertus on a throne, holding a crosier and a sword. The arms thus show these two attributes. The colours are those of the County Dalheim, to which the village historically belonged.
