Official blazon

Unter Schildhaupt mit den bayerischen Rauten in Silber ein grünes Schilfrohr mit schwarzem Kolben, beseitet von je einem grünen Halm mit goldener Ähre, überdeckt mit einem gesenkten blauen Wellenbalken.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1951.

The wavy bar symbolises the Amper river in the municipality. The reed symbolises the fact that the area historically was a swamp or boggy area. The wheatears symbolise the agriculture on the cultivated lands. The chief shows the arms of Bayern.
