District/county (județ) : Mureș
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 18, 2009.
The three religious pieces suggest the harmony in faith (Orthodox, Greek Catholic, Catholic, Reformed) of the inhabitants.
Wheat ear means the main occupation - agriculture.
The wavy bar represents the Mureș River.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
