Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 10, 1951.
The oak tree symbolises the former large forests of Dreieich (three-oaks). The small escutcheon shows a combination of the bars of the arms of the Counts of Isenburg and the wheel of the State of Mainz. The district historically belonged to Mainz and the county Isenburg.
