English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on August 6, 1938.

The arms are based on the 16th century seal of the town. The town historically belonged to the State and the Bishops of Bamberg, and thus show the arms of Bamberg as an escutcheon. The sun behind the escutheon is canting, Scheinen is shining.
