Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 20, 1959.

The two silver points are taken from the Lords of Rehlinger, who ruled the village in the 16^th century. They sold the village to the Holy Ghost Hospital in Kaufbeuren, hence the use of the pigeon (for the holu ghost) and the star of the city of Kaufbeuren.
