Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 18, 1959.
The city is well known for its Passion festivities, and the cross with the cloth are a symbol for these festivities. The two hands are a symbol for the faith of the population of the village during the years of pestilence in the Thirty Years war. Literature : Stadler, 1964-1971, 8 volumes.
