- (fi) Punaisessa kentässä kaksi vastakkain kääntynyttä ja lomittaista puolikuuta, joiden päällä kruunu; kaikki kultaa.
- (sv) I rött fält två motvända och in i varandra gripande halvmånar, bärande en krona; allt av guld.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 9, 1965.
The arms are based on the local parish seal from 1611, which showed the monogramme of King Karl IX of Sweden. The letters were changed into tow crescents, but the idea remained the same.
