NEUNHAUSEN

Neunhaus.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were adopted on December 5, 1988.

The bars are derived from the arms of the Estate of Esch-sur-Sûre, to which the whole municipality historically belonged. The thistle is derived from the arms of the local noble family Neunheuser. All the branches of this family used thistles in their arms.
