  • (de) Längsgeteilt rechts auf rotem Grund ein abnehmender silberner Mond, links auf silbernem Grund ein schwebendes rotes Kreuz.
  • (it) Partito di rosso e d’argento; il primo al crescente di luna dello stesso rivolto e figurato; il secondo alla croce patente scorciata del primo.

Origin/meaning

The arms are granted on Augyust 10, 1967, but are based on a document from 1395.

In the document the brother of Rudolf of Habsburg Duke of Tyrolia, Albrecht of Austria, granted the village of Newnmarkt (now Neumarkt) the present arms.
