NEUENBURG

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald (until 1973 Hochschwarzwald)
Incorporated into : 1931 Bachheim (1974 Löffingen)

The municipality did not use arms.

In 1903 arms were proposed for the village. The arms showed the arms of the Counts of Fürstenberg (see Dittishausen), with in the middle a wavy bar and water mill wheel. The village belonged for many centuries to Fürstenberg and the river and wheel indicate the importance of the water mills in earlier centuries.

The arms, however, were never used.
