Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 13, 2009.

The pine tree symbolises the nature and forests in the area. The gold and black bars are taken from the arms of Anhalt and symbolise that the area has been part of Anhalt for centuries. The crossed miner;'s tools symbolise the former importance of mining in the village. Template:De1 Template:Media1
