Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 26, 2004
The Archangel Michael is the patron saint of the local church. He holds a shield with a Jogaila cross to indicate that Nemenčinė parish is one of the oldest parishes in Lithuania, established by Grand Duke Jogaila in 1387.
