Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 27, 1976.

The arms are based on the arms of Kuno, Knight of Nauders from 1299 and Konrad Vischer from 1583. The first was the oldest known Lord of Nauders, the second a locally famous doctor. Both used fish in their arms.
