THE NATIONAL ARMS OF ISRAEL
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on February 11, 1949 and show the candle (menorah) of the temple of Jeruzalem between olive branches.
These arms have nothing in common with the arms of the historical Kingdom of Jerusalem.
