Spanish Escudo medio partido y cortado. Primero: En campo de gules (rojo) castillo de oro, donjonado y almenado. Segundo: En campo de plata, Cruz de Santiago soportada por dos lebreles de oro rampantes, acollarados de sable (negro) y perfilados de lo mismo. Tercero: En campo de azur (azul) dos montes de plata perfilados de sable, superados de dos cabezas de canes de sable, perfiladas de plata, arrancadas de gules y contornadas.

Origin/meaning

The castle symbolizes the strength to carry out the entrusted missions and its invincible resistance to the enemy. The greyhounds and the Cross of Santiago represent the exaltation of virtues of our Army. The mountains and the dogs refer to their firmness and fidelity and their ability to overcome any obstacle in adverse situations. The Coat of Arms was approved on 8 February 2013.
