Escudo Municipal: Blasón entado en punta, triángulo curvilíneo que tiene su vértice en el centro del escudo y base inferior del mismo, resultando tres cuarteles: a) diestro o derecho con una rueda de molino, oro, surmontada por caldera, sable, de subir mineral al exterior, b) siniestro o izquierdo, en campo gules, cinco lises de plata; y c) curvilíneo en punta, en campo azur, venera santiaguesa.
