Escut caironat: d'or, una casa forta o domus de sable carregada de tres pals d'argent i oberta. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.
Origin/meaning
The arms show the "domus" (a sort of castle) of Montesquiu and, inside, the arms of the Besora family (paly Sable and Argent), the lords of the village.
