Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on July 19, 1971.

The arms show in the point a Jew's Harp (Mouth Harp, German: Maultrommel) a nowadays rare instrument. Molln used to be an importan place of manufacturing these instruments.

The chief shows a daffodil (Nacissus sp) flower, for th emany daffodils flowering in May in the village, and a star. The star is taken from the arms of the Garsten Monastery in the municipality and also refers to the Frauenstein chapel, a famous pilgimage site for the H. Mary.
