Tiercé en pairle: au 1er de gueules à deux pics de mineur d’argent passés en sautoir, au 2e d’azur au lion d’or, au 3e d’argent à trois merlettes de sable.

Origin/meaning

The arms show in th eupper part miner's tools as a canting element. The lion is derived from the arms of the Grancey family and the merles from the arms of the Mignot family.
