Official blason

I fält av silver en blå stolpe, belagd med en liljekonvaljestängel av silver och åtföljd av två utåtriktade blå stridsyxor.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1963.

The two axes are the symbol for the local patron saint, St. Olaf of Norway. The lily-of-the-valley is taken from the arms of the Stake family, which originates from the area.
