Civic heraldry of Germany - Deutsche Wappen (Gemeindewappen/Kreiswappen)
In gespaltenem Schild vorn in Schwarz neben sechs silbernen Sternen ein silbernes Wolfseisen, hinten in Gold ein blaubewehrter und -gezungter roter Löwe.
The arms were officially granted on May 14, 1965.
The wolf-iron and stars are taken from the seal of the village from 1698. The lion is the lion of the Counts of the Rhine (Rheingrafen), to whom the village historically belonged.
