Italian Di rosso, alla mazza d’armi d’argento, posta in palo, col decusse d’oro, attraversante. Lo scudo è sormontato dalla corona marchionale. Sotto lo scudo, due fronde di alloro e di quercia, di verde, fruttate d’oro, decussate in punta, legate dal nastro tricolorato dai colori nazionali.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 24, 2003.

The club, or mace, is a canting element (Mazza in Italian). The meaning of the two crossed branches I don't know. The colours of the arms are those of the Malaspina family that ruled the area from 1442-1741.
