Escudo de púrpura, roda de azenha de ouro e barco de ouro, vestido de prata, realçados de negro e alinhados em faixa; em chefe, coroa do Divino Espírito Santo de prata e, em campanha, dois ramos de chá, de ouro, floridos de prata, com os pés passados em aspa. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: «MAIA — RIBEIRA GRANDE».
