Escudo de verde, veado de ouro, corrente, ramado, ungulado e vilanado de vermelho; em chefe dois sinos de ouro, com badalos e cabeçotes de vermelho. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ FREGUESIA DE MAFRA “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 11, 2001.

The deer and the green shield refer to the Tapada de Mafra protected natural area. The bells refer to the local Mafra Convent.
