English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 5, 1968.

The gate is a symbol for the former Lords of Burgtor, who owned the village from 1140-1317. The balls are taken from the Knights von Münster, known from at least 1197-1310, and who had their castle in the village.
