Wappen von Lohfelden

Official blazon

In von Gold und Grün geteiltem Schild drei (1:2) göpelförmig gestellte Eichenblätter in verwechselten Farben.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 13, 1967.

The leaves indicate the forests that used to be abundant in the area. The Loh-part of the name also indicates forests. The tree leaves symbolise the two former municipalities (lower part), that merged into one new (upper leaf).
