Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 11, 1965.

The glass jar symbolises the fact that glass blowing and manufacturing has played a major role in the local history. The olive tree branch is a symbol of St. Walburgis, the patron saint of Lohberg. The wavy bar symbolises the Schwarzau stream.
