  • (1987) I rött en bikupa av guld, däröver en ginstam av guld med två korslagda svarta glasblåsarpipor med anfångad röd glasmassa.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 19, 1986.

The upper part shows two glass blowing pipes, which are taken from the old arms of Hovmantorp and which symbolise the glass industry in the municipality.
The lower part shows the beehive from the old arms (see below), which is derived from the symbol of the local paper industry. The symbol was first used in 1808.
