Official blazon

Cortado. Primero, de oro, árbol tejo, de sínople, terrasado de lo mismo, acostado de dos lobos, de sable, pasantes y afrontados, y siniestrado de torre de su color, mazonada y aclarada de sable, de cuyas almenas salen dos figuras de moros, de carnación. Segundo, sobre ondas de agua de azur y plata, una pinaza con varios remeros y en su proa un arponero en actitud de lanzar un arpón a una ballena, que va acompañada de un ballenato. Bordura general de oro con la leyenda «Reges debellavit horrenda cette subjecit terra marique potens Lequeitio» puesta en letras de sable. Al timbre, Corona Real.
