Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms show the local viaduct between Dinan and Lanvallay. The Digitalis flower (cotissa in the local dialect) is a canting element for the nickname of the villagers, Côtissois. The free quarter shows the arms of the Dukes of Rohan in blue instead of red, the former rulers of the village. The ermine tails refer to Brittany.
