Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were designed and adopted in 1986. The complete arms show the motto 'Da vro atao' or Always your country (in Breton).

The blue pale symbolises the Aulne river entering the sea. The crosier is a symbol for the Nandelec Abbey, the ship for the importance of the naval station in the village. The ermine is taken from the arms of Bretagne.
