Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 28, 1938.

The arms are canting (the name means jumping lamb), with an additional symbol (hops), and are derived from the arms of a local monastery. The lamb (holding a crozier) already appeared on the seal of the monastery dating from the 16th century. The village at the same time used a seal with two leaves of hops. In the 1930s it was decided to combine the two different arms.
