Origin/meaning
The eagle is the Polish eagle and represents the Polish general Kosciuszko, who lived in the Berville castle from 1807-1814.
The cross refers to the former possessions of the Knights Templar in the municipality and the waves represent the rivers Loing, Lunian and the local canal.
