Parti: au 1er de gueules au lion d’or chargé sur l'épaule d’une coquille d’argent, au 2e mi-parti d’azur semé de fleurs de lis d’or et à la nef d’argent brochante.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1982.

The arms are a combination of the arms of the Elbe de Mauléon family (lion) and the arms of the Île de Ré island on which the village is situated.
