Province : Vestland (until 2020 Hordaland)
Additions : 1965 Fjelberg, Skånevik (partly), Varaldsøy (partly)

Arms of Kvinnherad

Official blazon

På sølv grunn ein blå gaffelkross laga med bølgjesnitt.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 18, 1982.

The arms symbolise the many streams and rivers in the municipality, especially the Hattebergselv and the Melselv, that come together just before they run into the sea.
