Official blazon

(de) In Rot ein schräglinker silberner Wellenbalken.

Origin/meaning

Krumbach received town rights in 1370 and at the same time the above shield appeared in the seals. The arms are canting, showing the Kammel stream. The colours were taken from the arms of the Burgau county, to which the town belonged at the time. The arms have never changed since, except that sometimes the bend was shown in the opposite direction.
