Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 23, 2005.
The meaning of the arms is not known. The bird appeared on the only known seal of the village, known since 1787. As the bird is not clear, the current blazon also does not specify the species. The local church has St. Luke as the patron saint, but none of his symbols is a bird of any kind.
